Thoughts on Emerging Technologies

Web hosting and domain registration (DNS), serves to identify computers and networks internet services.

CSS is a coding style sheet created on an application for a website using HTML. When using a style sheet, it is much easier to apply this style and certain attributes to a web page or many web pages. Cascading style sheets can also be applied to XML, SVG, and XUL documents, along with HTML. It is used to make visually appealing web pages. web pages can be designed or changed quickly and effectively by editing just a few lines in a CSS sheet.

My thoughts on emerging technologies are mixed. I think that  technology is great and can be convenient, however, it can also become stressful and irritating for some people. Technology can only be as good as the people that are using it and I think that that can make some problems arise. Not everyone is as adaptable to new types of technology and change as others can be. Some people may think it might make their job easier, but some people may become hesitant and really dislike using virtual reality programs. In my experience from using the 3D virtual reality website in this class, I did not like it. I am sure that after some improvement on that particular site may make it easier to use for everyone.

There are 4 things to think about when it comes to the design on a website. There is Contrast, which is the color, tone, size and direction of elements on your page. Unique elements on your page stand apart from each other. The alignment of a page is important as well because when everything on your page is well aligned and things look consistent on your page, it will look more professional and appealing to the eye. When designing a web page, you always want there to be repetition. Repetition is when you add one element to your page, you should also be adding this element to the rest pf your page to be consistent. When a page has too much going on, it becomes distracting and difficult for a reader to navigate. the last important principal to remember when it comes to designing your web page is proximity. This happens when you keep all similar elements close together and not spread all over the page.
